While Facebook recently announced new API’s to open the Facebook Stream, Microsoft is showing a new application built on a WPF framework that gives users a feel for what is possible with the Windows platform. This new experience offers fast performance, docking, taskbar integration and adaptive UI while a Silverlight example showcases feeds, exploring friend profiles, and browsing an expansive display of photos with DeepZoom.
