Looking for another way to add pizzazz to some of your photos? Consider the freeware FotoSketcher software for Windows by David Thoiron. Simply load a photograph, apply one of the many effects, watch the software work, view the source image and results side-by-side, then save and print your new creation.

A variety of effects are included such as color and black and white pencil sketches, watercolor, oil painting, brushstrokes, and cartoon. You can even go a step further and modify options such as brushstroke sizes, number of iterations, and whether or not to soften the edges.
