As editor, Bührmann is a Rhodes University graduate with an Honours in Journalism. He has been involved in the IT arena since 1986, with wide-ranging experience in all aspects of publishing, including editorial stints at Systems Publishers, The Star and Johnnic Publishing, as well as being executive editor of PC Magazine, Inter@ctive Week, and ZDNET SA Online. LiT Publishing’s flagship publication is Charged Southern Africa, a monthly glossy magazine that concentrates on three key segments for the small and medium business (SMB) and other end-users: digital lifestyle, business issues, and technology. Each month, it features a range of articles from industry specialists, looking at key current business and technology trends and issues, as well as providing tips and hints across a broad spectrum of related subjects.
Charged Southern Africa also publishes objective write-ups, reviews and group tests of the latest technology, from hi-tech gadgets and gizmos, cameras and other digital lifestyle accessories, to serious business tools, including printers, wireless networking systems, PCs and notebooks.
Charged Southern Africa is an independent publication not published by Microsoft, or affiliated with any other vendor.
